Akeley Wood School is a coeducational private day school originally founded in 1946. During WWII, it relocated to the English town of Akeley Wood and began enrolling girls in the early 1970s. As its population increased Akeley Wood School grew too, and it acquired the historic Tile House Mansion for its Senior School. The school's rich and long-standing tradition of academic excellence provides young people with an outstanding GCSE and A-Level curriculum (90 to 100 per cent student achievement), along with diverse extracurricular activities.
