The Peterborough School

Private Day School – Peterborough , Cambridgeshire

Founded in 1895, The Peterborough School is located in the heart of the city and is its only UK independent school. Senior students in years 10 to 13 engage in a rigorous, highly regarded curriculum that includes GCSE core subjects (100% of students achieve 5 A*-C grades) and over 20 A-Level courses. A select group of international students have the chance to fully immerse in the typical British school lifestyle, while receiving strong support through its ESL programme. The Peterborough School has a long-standing partnership with Cummins Generator Technologies for various STEM projects and work experience.

The Peterborough School may be close to the city centre, but it feels a world away. Set on 11 lovely acres of leafy grounds, it boasts a modern, state-of-the-art sports facility with a climbing wall and a fitness suite.

Sports and Arts

CREST Award Science Club, Ballet, Duke of Edinburgh, Drama Club, Explorer Scouts and Computing Club are just some of the fun extracurricular activities to choose from. For music lovers, there's orchestra, brass ensemble, percussion, electric guitar ensemble, soul band, and so much more. Sporty types are welcomed to join such activities like fencing, indoor cricket, badminton, as well as yoga, table tennis and even Ab Attack. Of course, the school wouldn't be complete without its traditional netball, tennis, football and rounders.

Community Information
