Private Day School – Hildenborough , Kent

Located in the village of Hildenborough in Kent, Sackville School occupies the former Foxbush House built in 1866. A coeducational private day school, it provides instruction for boys and girls in years 7 through to 13. An Ofsted outstanding award recipient, Sackville School offers 25 A-Level courses and a wide range of GCSE core and optional choices. (Examinations show that 90% of students achieved at least 5 A*-C grades and 100% of A-Level students achieved an A*-C grade in their chosen subjects). For international students, there's plenty of support through ESL/integration programmes to help them become part of a centuries-old educational heritage that's respected around the world.

Sackville School's building is surrounded by 26 spectacular acres of grounds registered as a historical park. Among its facilities are music rooms, a cricket pitch, a gymnasium, a vegetable garden and even a life-sized chessboard.

Participation in sport and games is enthusiastically encouraged at Sackville School. Offerings include cricket, cross-country, football, golf, rugby, netball, tennis and skiing. As for extra-curricular enrichments, the Duke of Edinburgh scheme is firmly established and there's a vibrant theatre company for those with creative interests.

The village of Hildenborough is home to several restaurants and cafes. The University of Kent, Canterbury is about an hour's drive away and Hildenborough railway station provides direct services to Central London (40 minutes).
