School and Academics
H-FARM International School is a co-educational boarding school near Venice, Italy, offering the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum through the Middle Years Programme (MYP), and Diploma Programme (DP).
The school community is diverse, with students from 41 different countries, creating a rich cultural and educational experience.
H-FARM accepts one-year placements into the MYP 4-5, but the IB Diploma requires a full two-year commitment for students to fully benefit and qualify for university applications.
In 2023, 86% of IB Diploma students secured offers from their top-choice universities, including prestigious institutions like King’s College London and the University of British Columbia, highlighting the school’s commitment to academic excellence and global readiness.
Facilities
The school is set within the expansive 51-hectare H-FARM Campus, a leading innovation hub in Europe. It offers state-of-the-art facilities, including an indoor and outdoor sports complex, fully-equipped gymnasium, science and virtual reality laboratories, and a library with communal study areas. Additional amenities include a radio station, an astronomy observation station, and a variety of dining options such as a coffee shop and restaurant. The campus is designed to be a collaborative and inspiring environment, where students interact with entrepreneurs and professionals in various settings, from the library to the sports courts.
Sports and Arts
H-FARM International School provides extensive sports and arts facilities to support a well-rounded education. The campus includes tennis, padel, football, basketball, and volleyball courts, as well as areas for calisthenics, BMX and mountain bike tracks, and skateboarding ramps. In addition to sports, the school encourages participation in creative and educational workshops such as theater, film clubs, and debates. The emphasis on both sports and arts ensures that students have ample opportunities to explore and develop their talents and interests outside the classroom.
Boarding Facilities
H-FARM offers modern boarding facilities within its campus, accommodating up to 238 students in single or double rooms with shared bathrooms. The boarding program is designed to provide a nurturing environment with a strong sense of community, overseen by Residence Life Coordinators and Boarding Parents who support students in their daily lives and educational activities. Boarding students benefit from access to all campus facilities and are offered a variety of weekend excursions and activities that explore the cultural and natural attractions of the local area. The school’s boarding program, certified by the Boarding Schools’ Association, emphasizes personal growth, teamwork, and independence.
Boarding hosts over 100 Boarding students from 20 different countries and representing all 6 continents. Boarding students are cared for by several Residence Life coordinators, who also arrange weekend excursions and activities that allow students to enjoy the natural and cultural attractions of our geographic area.
