Escondido Charter High School’s rigorous curriculum develops critical thinking capabilities, enhances student problem-solving, and challenges students with advanced math and science coursework. Students in their second semester are also able to take college level courses at Palamar City College which is located across the street from Escondido Charter High.

SPORTS AND ARTS
Escondido High School is part of the competitive North County Conference and competes in the Valley League. During the school year, students can play in sports like Basketball, Golf, Swimming and even Roller Hockey. State regulations in California can cause some restrictions for international students playing Varsity-level sports at their school. Please contact us for details.
Students interested in art are able to take advantage of various art related courses.

AWARDS AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Escondido Charter High School Media program has been featured at the Southern California Student Media Festival and the San Diego County iVIE Awards. The English Language Arts program was specially recognized at the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress review as one of the best in the county.
