Located in the northern Colorado city of Fort Collins, Poudre School District is the 9th largest school district in the state. Poudre School District offers the world-renowned International Baccalaureate Diploma along with a dual course partnership with Aims Community College.
FACILITIES
The district has invested around $375 million in building three new schools, an athletics complex, installation of new artificial turf on football fields, technology upgrades in the media center tech labs, and to renovate all of the athletic and school facilities district wide.
SPORTS AND ARTS
International students are welcome to play sports with their American peers in sports like golf, soccer, Nordic skiing, flag football and more. There is a dedicated Athletic Director at each school who oversees the sports programs of their school.
Poudre School District is committed to offering comprehensive art education through The Whole Child program. The program includes many art components such as Musical Arts, Movement Arts and Visual Arts.
AWARDS AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Poudre School District has an award winning Robotics team bringing home 9 awards since 2001. In 2018 they were finalists at Utah Regionals and won the Woodie Flowers Award at Colorado Regionals.
