HIGHLIGHT INFO

Located about an hour from the capital of Indiana, Scottsburg High School offers two academic tracks along with award-winning arts and athletics programs. Students can choose to follow the technology/STEM academic track or participate in the High Schools That Work program to explore different career clusters such as agriculture, architecture, or human services.

FACILITIES
Students have access to high-tech classroom equipment as well as mobile devices provided by the school. Athletic facilities include a football field, softball and baseball diamonds, and a track.

SPORTS AND ARTS
Students can participate in competitive sports such as baseball, volleyball, and cheerleading. Scottburg’s boys and girls basketball teams combined have 50 championship wins.
Students can participate in various art options such as Scottsburg’s award-winning band program as well as courses and extracurriculars such as acting class and drama club.

AWARDS AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Scottsburg High School participates in the Indiana Academic Super Bowl, a statewide competition in which students won the English competition in 2012, Science in 2013, Social Studies in 2014 and 2015, and Interdisciplinary in 2016. The band department won the Indiana State School Music Association’s All-Music Award in 2018.

COMMUNITY INFORMATION
The Midwestern town of Scottsburg has two destinations that are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Students are in a perfect location to explore other US states, as Scottsburg is only 40 minutes from the capital of Kentucky and under two hours from the capital of Ohio.
