SCHOOL PROFILE
Founded in 1995, Braemar College is a private secondary school located in the heart of Toronto. Braemar College places emphasis on providing practical academic skills with courses including: Financial Management, Leadership Studies, Computer Science, along with other core courses. Braemar students also have the opportunity to take part in clubs and activities to strengthen their academic studies based off their interests.

FACILITIES
Braemar College is located in the center of Toronto, right next to the University of Toronto - St. George campus. Facilities on the Braemar campus include spacious classrooms, two large lunchrooms, and a computer science lab with high-speed internet. 

SPORTS AND ARTS
While no organized sports teams are available directly at Braemar College, there are “Sports Nights” which occur 1-2 nights per week where organized sports like Basketball or Soccer are offered. Braemar also have athletic-related clubs like the Running Club.
Braemar has a long tradition of excellence in the Arts. Students use the latest technology to create videos or design the yearbook on the design team. Braemar students are also within a 15 minute walk of the Royal Conservatory of Music and the Art Gallery of Toronto.

SCHOOL PROFILE AND ACADEMICS The Durham Catholic District School Board (DCDSB) is located along the coast of Lake Ontario and is a little more than an hour outside of Toronto. The Durham Catholic District School Board has four different foreign languages to offer in addition to their ESL program. Schools in the DCDSB have facilities such as athletic fields, music rooms. art studios, and chapels for prayer. SPORTS AND ARTS Schools in the Durham Catholic District School Board offer a verity of athletic programs for their students. Varsity sports are offered seasonally and include Basketball, Football, Ice Hockey, Lacrosse, Soccer, Track and Field, and Volleyball. Each of the DCDSB schools have large arts programs with many courses and extracurricular activities for students to choose from. COMMUNITY INFORMATION The Durham Region is located about an hour East of Toronto, in the Golden Horseshoe area of Ontario. There is a mix of rural land in the north, with the South being more urban. Driving is popular to get around here, but there is also a transit system that allows people to travel all over, and popularly into Toronto.
