Founded in 1995, Braemar College is a private secondary school located in the heart of Toronto. Braemar College places emphasis on providing practical academic skills with courses including: Financial Management, Leadership Studies, Computer Science, along with other core courses. Braemar students also have the opportunity to take part in clubs and activities to strengthen their academic studies based off their interests.
Braemar College is located in the center of Toronto, right next to the University of Toronto - St. George campus. Facilities on the Braemar campus include spacious classrooms, two large lunchrooms, and a computer science lab with high-speed internet.
SPORTS AND ARTS
While no organized sports teams are available directly at Braemar College, there are “Sports Nights” which occur 1-2 nights per week where organized sports like Basketball or Soccer are offered. Braemar also have athletic-related clubs like the Running Club.
Braemar has a long tradition of excellence in the Arts. Students use the latest technology to create videos or design the yearbook on the design team. Braemar students are also within a 15 minute walk of the Royal Conservatory of Music and the Art Gallery of Toronto.
International students will find no shortage of things to do in Toronto. Located on Lake Ontario, Toronto offers many art, sporting, and shopping experiences for international students to explore.

SCHOOL PROFILE AND ACADEMICS The Durham Catholic District School Board (DCDSB) is located along the coast of Lake Ontario and is a little more than an hour outside of Toronto. The Durham Catholic District School Board has four different foreign languages to offer in addition to their ESL program. All the schools in this district also have Advanced Placement courses for students to take as well as a couple Dual Credit course opportunities. There are also many electives for students to choose from including Drama, Law, and Marketing. Extracurricular activities are quite popular at the schools, featuring both artistic options such as Art Club and Drama Club and interest-based clubs such as Social Justice and Yearbook. As the fourth-largest school board in North America, it is home to a number of high-performing high schools with numerous Specialist High Skills Major (SHSM) programs, French Immersion programs, AP courses, and International Baccalaureate Diploma schools.
