School DescriptionHeritage Christian School, founded in 1976, has 13 Advanced Placement courses and over 20 after-school activities supported by the latest technologies like 3D graphic computers and SmartBoards. Many graduates of Heritage Christian are accepted to university, with some students going on to Ivy League schools.
The school facilities include science labs, a carpentry workshop, art/music classrooms, a gymnasium, an auditorium, a library, and an academic center with computers.
SPORTS AND ARTS
Boys and girls athletic teams compete in the Southern Section CIF competition with traditional sports like Volleyball, Tennis and Football. The fine arts department at Heritage is known for its offerings. The school's Concert Choir has an international reputation and has performed in eight different countries: England, Ireland, Germany, Austria, Italy, Chile, France, and the Czech Republic.

Canyons School District is located in the southeastern corner of Salt Lake County, bordered by the Wasatch Mountain range on the east and the Traverse Mountain range on the west. Nine of Chaffey Joint Union High School District’s comprehensive high schools are accepting international high school students. Several schools in the district are distinguished California Gold Medal schools, and all students who meet certain requirements are guaranteed admission to Grand Canyon University.
