Sequoia Charter School is one of the largest public charter schools in Arizona. Sequoia offers dual enrollment courses for college credit as well as an Ambassador program in which all international students are paired with a local student to help them acclimate to the school. The district also has one of the top performing arts schools in the Phoenix area. International students make up less than 5% of the district’s student body.

SPORTS AND ARTS
Sequoia Charter School offers varsity athletic programs including American football and martial arts. State regulations allow international students in grades 9-11 to participate in any Junior Varsity (JV) sports teams.
The district aims to prepare students for education in the arts after high school. They offer courses including dance, piano and graphic arts.
Mesa, the third largest city in Arizona, is minutes east of Phoenix. The city provides students a thriving metropolitan lifestyle with great shopping, parks, sports facilities, great year-round climate and highly rated golf courses.
