A "home away from home" for international students, Peace River North Secondary School is located in scenic northwestern British Columbia. The school offers individualized learning programs for students interested in focusing their studies in science, technology, arts, and drama.
The school has modern classrooms as well as two hockey arenas, indoor track, dance studio, fitness room, and a 400m skating oval. There is also a 3D Printing Lab that students can utilize as well as Mac labs.
Sports and Arts
International students can join sports teams including Soccer, Volleyball, Basketball, and Ultimate Frisbee.
Individualized learning programs allow students to specialize in art and drama courses.
Awards and Accomplishments
Two students from Peace River North Secondary Robotics program placed 5th at the Skills Canada National Competition.
Known as the "Energetic City," Fort St. John is the largest city in the northwestern British Columbia and is situated along the world-famous Alaska Highway. Peace River North Ambassadors also help international students by connecting with students before and after arrival.

Centre Wellington High School
SCHOOL PROFILE AND ACADEMICS Centre Wellington District High School (CWDHS) is located within the close-knit community of Fergus, Ontario. With Specialist High Skills Majors (SHSMs) in Business, Environment, Health and Wellness, Hospitality and Tourism, Sports, and Technology, students can learn relevant skills for their future careers. Students can immerse themselves in the French language and culture by enrolling in the French Immersion program. Technology courses are available for students who are interested in robotics. FACILITIES CWDHS campus facilities are constantly being updated with new technologies to enhance students' education. The media center recently underwent a $100,000 renovation to install new speakers and computer systems. The school also centers around a beautiful light-filled atrium as a common space. Other amenities include multiple athletic fields, swimming pools, and gymnasiums. Student can also make use of an on-campus greenhouse and auto body shop. Alberni District Secondary School
SCHOOL PROFILE AND ACADEMICS Located on the territories of the Nuu-chah-nulth First Nation along the central west coast of Vancouver Island, School District 70’s Alberni District Secondary School (ADSS) offers students a beautiful living environment with challenging academics. ADSS offers a Canada Hockey Skills Academy, an early French Immersion program, a leadership program, a forestry program, and dual credit courses in partnership with Vancouver Island University and North Island College. FACILITIES In 2012, ADSS opened a new state-of-the-art facility that offers media labs and modern classrooms with a university feel. The school has a ten-acre campus that features a 500- seat theatre, an artificial turf field, two gymnasiums, a fitness room, and a dance studio. SPORTS AND ARTS The district offers the Canada Hockey Skills Academy that has produced many Canadian “Junior A” athletes. For all skill levels, the academy offers boy and girls the opportunity to work on the fundamentals of hockey while receiving PE credits.
