SCHOOL PROFILE Founded in 1792, Fryeburg Academy is a historic, academically rigorous school located in a classic New England village. The school offers specialized programs such as the film making program taught by a director who formerly worked at Hollywood's MGM Studios. Additionally, the math program has won many state and regional championships. Founded in 1811, Thornton Academy is one of New England’s oldest college preparatory schools.
