School Description

Applewild School is a junior boarding school offering a liberal arts education for grades 5-9. In an environment of small classes and enthusiastic students and teachers, everyone at Applewild is known personally. To encourage even more personalized learning, all students work individually with an instructor in Applewild’s creative mentor programs.

FACILITIES
Facilities include soccer and lacrosse fields, a field hockey field, a gymnasium, a professionally equipped theater, a makerspace, and fully equipped music rooms.

SPORTS AND ARTS
Applewild sports teams feature all levels with an emphasis on skill development, meaning that students who sign up for the recreational participation level often decide to compete with the travel squad by the end of the season! Sports offered include soccer, basketball and track & field.
Students have the opportunity to participate in visual art, woodshop, drama, choral music and instrumental music at Applewild School while working with a creative mentor.

AWARDS AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Applewild School is accredited by from Association of Independent Schools of New England and has an award-winning jazz band.
