Burlington High School (BHS) is a four year comprehensive US high school with an innovative approach to learning. With the use of the newest technologies Burlington High School has introduced the “1:1” system in which all instructors and students are issued iPads to enhance teaching and learning. Faculty and staff consider each student a unique individual with his or her own set of talents and skills. The principal writes a blog containing information about the school’s current events and activities to keep students and parents informed.
The school is proud of its outstanding campus facilities that include a professional-level performing arts center with high-tech lighting and sound systems, a catwalk, projector, projection screen and dressing rooms.
SPORTS AND ARTS
Burlington High School strongly supports the commitment to interscholastic athletic programs as an essential educational opportunity available to students. BHS graduates or coaches who have demonstrated outstanding leadership or athletic prowess in varsity sports can be inducted in to BHS’s own Athletic Hall of Fame. Students are also encouraged to participate in the arts program through various courses and clubs including Interior and Exterior Design.
Burlington’s economy is booming, and seeing impressive growth in retail, commercial and technology. Perfectly positioned in Massachusetts, Burlington is just 20 minutes from Boston, 30 minutes from New Hampshire and only one hour from Rhode Island.
