Steeped in history, with alumni in the White House, on the surface of the moon, professional athletes, and in key leadership positions around the world, Admiral Farragut Academy is an international prep school and boarding school offering elite college prep academics and global leadership development.

Admiral Farragut Academy is situated on a picturesque, 40-acre gated waterfront campus that once housed the prestigious Jungle Country Club Hotel and Resort. Facilities now include a multipurpose building with art and music classrooms, a theater, aviation center featuring state-of-the-art training equipment, and marine science centers. In addition, state-of-the-art engineering labs are on campus as well. Athletic facilities include an outdoor heated swimming pool, a field house with weight rooms, wrestling room, stadium, eight lane track, batting cages, two tennis courts, two outdoor basketball courts, two sand volleyball courts, and a waterfront sand volleyball court.

At Admiral Farragut Academy, a majority of the student body is involved in either sports, clubs, drill, or the arts, or all four. At times, you will see a student hustling from one practice to another event. They take pride in producing well-rounded individuals ready to conquer the world. Several athletic teams set new standards in their respective sports as two student-athletes won state titles in wrestling, the girls track team claimed its first title in school history in the 2022-2023 school year, and the softball team elevated the status of females at Farragut by reaching the region finals.
The school offers advanced Art courses offering an opportunity to work with 2D-3D art. They also offer Photography and of course, Drama as well and more. They note that as the program continues to expand they hope to offer students even more opportunities to explore other art practices!

Admiral Farragut Academy holds an A rating on and is ranked #4 Best Private High Schools in the county. They are also accredited by Cognia, which is a valuable mark of distinction recognized around the world.
