Located less than half an hour from Boston, Arlington High School offers a rigorous academic curriculum including an internship program and more than 15 AP courses. Boston’s public transit system stops by the high school allowing easy access into the city. The school’s outstanding STEM program has a unique video game and web development program.

FACILITIES
Campus facilities include various outdoor sports fields, a media center, and a historical Colonial-style building in the center of campus. Students have the opportunity to participate in the school’s news station at the local access television studios located across the street from the high school.

SPORTS AND ARTS
Arlington High School’s 30 boys and girls teams consistently win state championships in sports such as ice hockey, lacrosse, cross country, and soccer.
Unique arts opportunities at Arlington include songwriting and film scoring as well as a student-run school newspaper and student-produced public news station. The theater program also puts on at least two large productions each year.

AWARDS AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS
The US News and World Report ranks Arlington High School as the 25th best high school in the state. Arlington High School was also awarded the Massachusetts Green Ribbon School District, an award for Environmentally Aware and Civic Minded Schools.

Arlington is a suburban town just minutes from downtown Boston. The historical town offers year-round cultural activities such as museums and festivals. Arlington is located half an hour from the beach town of Revere, MA and about an hour from various New England ski resorts.
