Campus is surrounded by spectacular panoramic views of the Topa Topa Mountains and the Ojai Valley. Besant Hill School provides a serene, natural environment in which students can pursue their educational goals.
SPORTS AND ARTS
As a small school, students contribute to tightly-bonded teams where no teammate is left out. Besant Hill School’s “no-cut” policy ensures each student a spot on any team. During practice, we strive to reinforce the transferable skills developed by participating on a team while practicing drills to improve athletic ability and performance.
The arts are everywhere on campus, in the recording studio, in the ceramics studio, in the Beato Atelier, in the multi-media room, or on stage in their beautiful 150-seat Zalk Theater.

Besant Hill holds an A+ rating on Niche.com and is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and the California Association of Independent Schools (CAIS), and is a member of the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS) and The Association of Boarding Schools (TABS).
DORMITORIES AND STUDENT LIFE
Besant Hill's dorms feature comfortable, modern rooms that are shared with just one roommate, as well as lounge areas and a student center that lend themselves to plenty of relaxing. Students are free to leave campus on most weekends, but those who remain can take advantage of our full program of organized weekend activities – everything from beach trips to kayaking, movies, shopping mall expeditions, hikes, trips to Universal Studios, and more.
