FACILITIES
On their 1,400 acre campus located in Northeast Georgia is a space perfect for exploring with miles of hiking trails, a private lake for kayaking, canoeing, and swimming while still being within driving distance of major cities such as Atlanta, Georgia. When the students are in class, you can find them in one of the school's many state-of-the-art facilities including their Arts & Technology Building, Gymnasium, STEAM Center, or Natatorium.
SPORTS AND ARTS
Athletics are a core part of the Rabun Gap experience. International students are encouraged to take part in their longstanding tradition of success with multiple state playoff and runner-up finishes in several sports at JV and Varsity level. Their alumni have gone on to play professional sports.
Rabun has one of the top arts programs in the country. They offer many opportunities for student performances and exhibitions. In addition to daily classes in the fine arts, Rabun Gap students participate in many productions in an extracurricular format. This includes our unique Cirque program and their award-winning musical.

They are accredited by the Southern Association of Independent Schools as well as members of the Cum Laude Society and TABS. DORMITORIES AND STUDENT LIFE
Students are steps away from class, the gym, the library, and the dining hall when living in the dorms. Dorms are supervised by faculty dorm teams. Most dorms are two students to a room with personal sleep, study, and storage areas. On the weekends, in addition to weekly trips to the grocery store, restaurants, and the movies, many more activities are planned for boarding students as well. This may include the Mall of Georgia, Six Flags Amusement Park, arcades, etc. There are also plenty of things to do on campus indoors and outdoors.
