The Gilbert School is a co-ed boarding school for grades 7-12 located in Connecticut, 45 minutes from Hartford and 2 hours from Boston and New York. Founded 1895, it offers a Career and Technical Education Program and dual enrollment college courses.

FACILITIES
The facilities at the school include a football field, multiple tennis courts, auditorium, TV production room, and a fully equipped Library Media Center.

SPORTS AND ARTS
The Gilbert School participates in interscholastic competition in Connecticut. It offers 18 different sports programs and two Cheer programs at the high school level and nine different athletics opportunities and Cheer at the middle-school level.
With a variety of fine arts co-curricular activities, students can find and discover talents in any area of interest, such as in choir, photography or graphic design.

Winsted, Connecticut is a small, safe town full of acres of evergreen trees, lakes, ponds, and plenty of hiking trails. The Gilbert School school is located two hours between both historic Boston and exciting New York City, where students can find world-renowned colleges and universities.
