Founded in 1867 and located on the peak of Storm King Mountain (SKS) in the Hudson River Valley, The Storm King School is less than two hours from New York City. The school’s Science Department chair is former NASA scientist Dr. Paul Feffer. SKS offers unique, intensive short-term courses based upon student and faculty interest such as The Science and Art of Makeup and How Sports Shaped American Culture.

The school is in the process of building a brand new academic center.
