AT A GLANCE
The Woodstock Academy is a private day-and-boarding school in northeastern Connecticut offering a broad college-preparatory curriculum supported by strong STEM, arts and humanities programs. Its dual-campus environment provides extensive academic and co-curricular opportunities for a diverse student body.

ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE
Students access more than 20 AP and Early College courses, supported by small classes and faculty with advanced training. STEAM labs, media studios and engineering spaces enable hands-on learning, while specialized programs such as STRIVE and the Therapeutic Program provide structured academic and transition support for eligible students.

STUDENT ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Students earn AP distinctions and gain admission to selective universities, including Ivy League institutions. Many participate in leadership, service and community-based learning that strengthens academic and personal growth.

CAMPUS AND FACILITIES
The two campuses include STEAM labs, arts studios, performance venues, athletic fields and collaborative learning spaces. The rural New England setting provides open green areas and access to outdoor recreation and regional cultural sites.

ATHLETICS AND ARTS
Athletics offer competitive opportunities across all seasons, supported by extensive facilities and experienced coaching. The arts program spans visual arts, theater, music and media production, giving students multiple avenues for creative development.

COMMUNITY
Located in Connecticut’s “Quiet Corner,” the school sits near historic towns, parks and cultural venues, about one hour from Boston and close to Hartford and Providence.

RESIDENTIAL LIFE
Boarding students live in staffed residence halls with shared lounges and study areas, joining a community of domestic and international students. The program provides daily support, weekend activities and close connection to school resources.
