There are a total of eight co-educational high schools in the Davis School District. Clearfield High School is proud of their prestigious International Baccalaureate Programme.Layton High School has impressive math and science programs and Northridge High School’s focus is on their Career Academic Academies. Other outstanding programsthroughout the District include dual enrollment in college courses, digital media programs, and an extensive choice of clubs and athletics.

The facilities in the Davis School District vary from school to school, but at every school students will be able to take advantage of an auditorium, gymnasium, libraries with large
collections of digital books, Wi-Fi capabilities, and sports facilities.

Each high school has something to catch student’s interests. For sports, both Davis High School and Bountiful High School have competitive sports program. Layton also has a
high ranking sports program with the girls basketball taking the state title in 2015. Davis High School is known for its great marching band, music program while Layton
High is known for their theater program. Woods Cross High School is also well-known for their outstanding theater and drama program.

Farmington, Utah is located between Wasatch Mountains and the Great Salt Lake, there is frequent snowfall for skiing and other winter sports. The town was recently honored
with a rankinG of #12 of the “Best Places to Live” index (Small Town category) by Money Magazine.

Davis County offers many of the typical shopping centers nearby with theaters, restaurants, and many shops for international students to frequent. About 30 minutes south is the state capital of Salt Lake City where students can experience the many museums, more shopping, and the bigger city atmosphere. Several hours further south students can visit Zion National Park which is famously known for warmer year round weather, beautiful red/orange rock formations and famous stone arches.
