Morgan Park Academy (MPA) is an independent, college preparatory school located on the south side of Chicago. Founded in 1873, the school has 160 students enrolled in upper school with small class sizes and a low student to teacher ratio. Graduates emerge asconfident young adults, original thinkers, and creative problem solvers.
FACILITIES
The facilities include a theater, an art gallery, a library, a courtyard for outdoor events, and a field house (tennis courts, three gymnasiums, multi-purpose rooms, athletic fields).
SPORTS AND ARTS
MPA competes for league championships in 10 sports with other independent schools in the area. The Academy supports a child’s development of artistic expression, and encourages students to be lifelong supporters of the arts; many graduates go on to study the arts at exceptional universities like Berklee College of Music.
