Golden Hills is home to more than 40 schools offering a wide range of academic courses including AP courses in Biology, Calculus, and Chemistry. Students have access to ESL learning resources and can also take part in the available athletic and fine arts programs offered at many schools.
Golden Hills is the only public school division in Alberta with dormitory facilities. Students have access to an indoor swimming pool, as well as other sports facilities such as football fields, and fine art facilities including theatres.
SPORTS AND ARTS
Students can participate at the junior varsity or varsity level in sports such as volleyball, soccer, and football.
During their time at Golden Hills, students have the opportunity to take part in choir, band, fine arts, and more.
Golden Hills School Division covers a large area from Strathmore to Drumheller and Three Hills and is located just 25 minutes east of Calgary. This offers easy access to the big city while still retaining a small-town feel. It is a vibrant community with excellent sporting venues, schools, shopping and walking trails to enjoy with the family.
There are a number of things for visitors to do: check out a hockey game at the Strathmore Family Centre, go for a swim at the Aquatic Centre, play a round at one of the golf courses or check out the scenery at one of the many parks.

SCHOOL PROFILE Birmingham Community Charter High School is an independent US public high school accepting international students in grades 10-12. SCHOOL PROFILE AND ACADEMICS The schools in the Newfoundland and Labrador English School District are situated in different regions of St. John’s and range in student population from 800 to 1,000 students.
