Idyllwild Arts Academy is a well-renowned, arts-focused private boarding school in the United States. The academy offers prestigious training in creative writing, dance, fashion design, film and digital media, interdisciplinary arts, music, theater, and visual arts. Located on a 200-acre campus in California’s San Jacinto Mountains, campus facilities include a brand new concert hall, performance spaces, art studios, galleries, and an open-air theater. Students also have access to a swimming pool, tennis courts, a fitness center, basketball courts, a writing resource center, an observatory, and a bookstore.

SCHOOL PROFILE Founded in 1792, Fryeburg Academy is a historic, academically rigorous school located in a classic New England village. The school offers specialized programs such as the film making program taught by a director who formerly worked at Hollywood's MGM Studios. Additionally, the math program has won many state and regional championships. FACILITIES The rural 105-acre campus features an art gallery and a state-of-the-art Performing Arts Center where 80 school and local performances are held each year. The school is currently building a new dining hall and student center. SPORTS AND ARTS Fryeburg offers over 20 varsity sports teams. The Nordic ski program is exceptional, having recently won the state championship and graduates have gone on to compete in the Olympics. Fryeburg Academy's performing arts and music programs are outstanding. The school has won multiple first place championships in vocal jazz, big band, and new standard jazz combo in both the state and the national Berklee High School Jazz Festival. Northfield Mount Hermon
SCHOOL PROFILE Northfield Mount Hermon believes good lives grow from strong roots. So NMH created an environment where creativity, character, and natural curiosity can flourish. As NMH graduates enter college and adulthood, they are well-educated, well-adjusted, well-liked, and very well-prepared to thrive. Northfield Mount Hermon is a coed, independent boarding school of 655 students in grades 9–12 plus a postgraduate year. NMH is known for its College-Model Academic Program, which balances academic, extracurricular, and residential experiences. You’ll find NMH in the heart of New England, on the banks of the Connecticut River in western Massachusetts. FACILITIES Students at Northfield Mount Hermon have access to a number of fantastic facilities, including a 34-acre farm, an observatory, and a high-level athletic complex which includes three turf fields and an all-weather outdoor track. SPORTS AND ARTS The school has a long history of athletic success, including a powerhouse cross country program, and has produced a number of Olympians, including Tessa Gobbo, who won an Olympic Gold Medal in Rowing at the 2016 Olympics. In terms of arts, Northfield Mount Hermon's 65,000 square-foot Rhodes Art Center is home to all of the school's performing arts. Students also have the option to enroll in a number of fine arts classes, including three AP studio art classes. AWARDS AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS Many Northfield Mount Hermon students win academic, athletic, and artistic awards. In 1968, the sport of Ultimate Frisbee was invented at the school. DORMITORIES AND STUDENT LIFE With dormitories that range from 14 to 150 students, Northfield Mount Hermon has something for every student. Each dormitory has a faculty "dorm parent" around to support students outside of class. On the weekends, there is plenty to do. The Student Activities Office plans a number of on-campus and off-campus events, including trips to local malls, the movies, and even other boarding schools for dances.
