Ranked in the top seven school districts in Florida for reading, math, and science, Brevard County School District offers students opportunities in academic, technical, and career-centered curriculum. At Heritage High School, students can choose from advanced STEM, dual enrollment, Environmental Studies Academy, Sports Medicine Academy, the Cambridge AICE diploma program, and more.
Built in 2009, Heritage High School’s 65-acre campus is located on the East coast of central Florida. The modern facilities feature some of the latest classroom technologies, covered outdoor terraces, and extensive athletic facilities.
SPORTS AND ARTS
Students can compete in sports such as American football and golf. Many students compete each year in State Championship Competitions.
The school’s comprehensive arts program offers courses such as studio art, theater, and pottery.
AWARDS AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS
The choir at Heritage was named a Disney Honor Choir in 2015. US News and World Report recognizes Heritage High School as a Bronze Medal School.
Brevard County is home to destinations such as the Kennedy Space Center, Port Canaveral, 72 miles of beautiful Atlantic Ocean beaches, and the largest collection of endangered wildlife and plants in the continental United States. Students can ride an hour by car to Orlando, home to famous theme parks such as Disney World and Universal Studios.

SCHOOL PROFILE Located just north of the famous coastal cities of Miami and Fort Lauderdale, North Broward Preparatory School offers more than 15 honors and AP classes, a STEAM program, and the prestigious International Baccalaureate Diploma. North Broward Preparatory's students have access to exceptional athletics and arts programs. FACILITIES NBPS's 80-acre campus features gymnasiums, swimming pools, a yoga studio, a lighted stadium, a baseball diamond, a wellness center, an on-campus coffee shop, and modern classrooms with smart technology. Florida Preparatory Academy
SCHOOL PROFILE Established in 1961, Florida Preparatory Academy offers a wide range of academic opportunities including honors, AP, and dual enrollment courses. They feature a distinguished aviation program and nationally ranked top 100 Air Force JROTC program. Students have the opportunity to pursue a Private Pilot License. FACILITIES Florida Prep’s 11-acre tropical campus is located a 10 minute drive from the beach and features a snack bar, an outdoor stage, a gymnasium, a tennis court, sports fields, a music/recording studio, and a golf course. SPORTS AND ARTS Students can participate in a wide range of athletics, clubs, and activities such as golf, basketball, and surf club. The Girls Basketball Team won the 2019 State Championship. Florida Preparatory offers unique art courses such as culinary arts, sound engineering, and film studies. The school’s on-campus music and recording studio allows students to develop particularly strong technical music skills.
