Brevard Public - Heritage High School
School DescriptionRanked in the top seven school districts in Florida for reading, math, and science, Brevard County School District offers students opportunities in academic, technical, and career- centered curriculum. At Heritage High School, students can choose from advanced STEM, dual enrollment, Environmental Studies Academy, Sports Medicine Academy, the Cambridge AICE diploma program, and more.
Built in 2009, Heritage High School’s 65-acre campus is located on the East coast of central Florida. The modern facilities feature some of the latest classroom technologies, covered outdoor terraces, and extensive athletic facilities.
SPORTS AND ARTS
Students can compete in sports such as American football and golf. Many students compete each year in State Championship Competitions.
The school’s comprehensive arts program offers courses such as studio art, theater, and pottery.
AWARDS AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS
The choir at Heritage was named a Disney Honor Choir in 2015.
Brevard County is home to destinations such as the Kennedy Space Center, Port Canaveral, 72 miles of beautiful Atlantic Ocean beaches, and the largest collection of endangered wildlife and plants in the continental United States. Students can ride an hour by car to Orlando, home to famous theme parks such as Disney World and Universal Studios.

"International students who study at a US high school have an inside-track to attend a US University," according to Educatius Group's Academic Director Dr. Sharon Tan.

It is impossible to believe March is coming to an end. With that being said, just a small reminder that Graduation is less than two months away and not to mention Prom is next month!!! Time truly flies when you are having a good time and when you are far away from home.
It's a great challenge for international students to leave their home and comfort zone. But living with an American host family will leave you with a lot of good memories. Today let me share with you my tips from living with host families for three years in American high schools!

Located in Boca Raton, Florida, Saint Andrew’s School is a nationally recognized college preparatory boarding school. The school has the International Baccalaureate diploma as well as many Advanced Placement and honors courses. Robotic and Entrepreneurial courses are also available for students interested in STEM or business. Located in between the beaches of Miami and the Everglade National Park, Miami Dade County Public Schools have an excellent location with academics to match. Students have the opportunity to take the prestigious International Baccalaureate Diploma Program as well as four foreign languages, more than 15 AP Courses, STEM Courses, and specialty courses such as Bio-Medical or Fashion Design. FACILITIES Schools in the Miami Dade County Public Schools system have modern facilities that support programs in areas like Design, Architecture, Performing Arts and more. Miami Dade also owns and operates a PBS Television Station, WLRN-TV (Channel 17) as well as their own radio station. SPORTS AND ARTS Students can compete in a variety of sports in the Fall, Winter, and Spring sports seasons such as Football, Basketball, and Tennis. Saint Edward's School
Saint Edward’s School is an independent, Episcopal school with a challenging curriculum. International students can join programs like STEM, entrepreneurship/business classes, a Global Initiatives Program, and internship opportunities. FACILITIES The beautiful 33-acre campus is set along Florida’s Treasure Coast off the Indian River Lagoon, complete with a dock and a fleet of boats. Other facilities include an 800-seat performing arts center, an aquatic complex, gymnasiums, and a fine arts center with music and art studios. There are also two libraries, athletic fields, and science labs. SPORTS AND ARTS Saint Edwards School has a very competitive sports program, fielding numerous championship teams. Many of the school’s fine and performing arts courses such as choral and instrumental music, art history, technical theater, and speech performance are taught by practicing professionals.
