School Description
Maynard High School is a top-rated four year coeducational high school enrolling students in grades 9 to 12. Offering smaller class sizes, students are able to receive the extra attention and support they need. Maynard High School is proud of its varied curriculum and extracurricular activities that attract a select group of international students from all over the world every year. Students can take on leadership roles in several sports or activities while gaining quality social and learning skills along with invaluable knowledge about the technology of today.

Facilities
The school district recently invested into construction for a new building with 34 classrooms. The new facility includes a cafeteria with kitchen, auditorium, gymnasium, art, music, vocational technology classrooms, a radio/TV station and a state-of-the-art athletic field complex.

Sports and Arts
Maynard High School athletes are leaders in the Midland-Wachusett league ranging from youth programs to varsity sports. Maynard also encourages its students to take advantage of the arts opportunities available at the school.

Awards and Accomplishments Of School

Maynard recently was awarded Chapter 74 Certification status for our Communications program. Students can now earn a vocational certificate in communications as well as their diploma. Maynard’s senior project capstone has been recognized by the state as the leading program for senior capstones.

The 30th president of the United States, Calvin Coolidge, graduated from St. Johnsbury Academy.
