Saline High School is a co-ed public high school located in Saline, Michigan, 1 hour from Detroit. With a focus on STEAM, the school offers international students many opportunities, including the FIRST Robotics Competition, Destination Imagination, Science Olympiad, and Project Lead the Way - Medical and Engineering.

FACILITIES
The school has a 3 story auditorium, music practice rooms, computer room, and a well-equipped library. The athletic facilities at the school include a football field, a pool, an indoor gymnasium, a weight room, a gymnastic practice room, and a wrestling room.

SPORTS AND ARTS
Offering many team sports, students can take part in football, cheerleading, basketball, equestrian, skiing and more.
With a variety of fine arts courses, students join subjects like painting, jewelry-making, and pottery. Around 40% of the students participate in musical ensembles, including band, orchestra, choir, jazz band, and musicals. The marching band has even performed at Carnegie Hall, a famous concert venue in Manhattan, New York!

AWARDS AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS
The Saline Debate Team has won state titles and many other awards, while the Saline High School Science Olympiad team took 15 top 8 placements out of 19 events in 2020.

Downtown Saline has the charm of a small town, full of historic buildings over a century old, combined with buildings built in the 1950’s and 1960’s. International students in Saline can enjoy an abundance of parks, museums, walking paths, shops and businesses.
