School Description

Lawrence Woodmere Academy is a college preparatory private school, located only minutes from New York City. The school is one of 25 schools in the US to offer a Global Scholars Program. Project Lead the Way and STEM courses are also available for students in the science, technology, or medical field.

FACILITIES
High speed, super cooled, computers and computer labs have been installed at the school. The theater also has built in surround sound speakers.

SPORTS AND ARTS
The school's athletic program has produced NCAA talented athletes and has won several state championships in recent years.
Lawrence Woodmere's performing arts program is very strong and has produced talented Broadway actors such as Andrew Feldman, who stared in the hit Broadway show Dear Evan Hansen. Students interested in music can also join several chorus and band classes.

COMMUNITY INFORMATION
The community of Woodmere is only a few miles from New York City. Students can explore the many shopping and tourist activities the city has to offer, including the Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building, and Times Square.
