School Description

Voted one of the best Catholic schools in the US, St Francis Xavier High School offers students a variety of STEM, engineering, biomedical and AP courses.

The academic wing includes computer labs, science labs, a large guidance suite, and a library media center. The school’s performing arts center includes a 749-seat theater plus new rooms for band, chorus, drama, and art.

With a rich tradition of success, St. Francis Xavier offers international students an opportunity to compete on many traditional and non-traditional athletic teams.
The arts program at St. Francis is impressive and includes the Xavier Theater Academy, an intensive learning/performance class geared toward dedicated, serious performers and technicians. Students prepare for and present public performances of a Broadway musical at the end of each session.

Appleton is situated along the Fox River, about 40 minutes south of Green Bay and two hours north of Milwaukee. The community enjoys many yearly film, music and art festivals. Appleton is also home to several fine art institutes, such as Valley Academy of the Arts and the Makaroff School of Ballet.
