For all skill levels, the academy offers boy and girls the opportunity to work on the fundamentals of hockey while receiving Physical Education credits. Other individual and team sports are available for students to participate in, including a strong wrestling program that has produced Olympian Travis Cross.
Fostering creativity for their students, the district offers art and music as curricular and extracurricular classes. The fine arts curriculum adds classes in drawing and painting, ceramics and sculpture, media arts, as well as textiles and crafts.
