Coquitlam, in Metro Vancouver, is a public school district in British Columbia, Canada. In addition to seven foreign language options and ESL, Coquitlam’s varied programs include Advanced Placement, the prestigious International Baccalaureate Diploma, French Immersion, Sports Academies, and a Confucius Institute. Students in the Coquitlam School District also take part in a large number of extracurricular programs including eSports, Model United Nations, Fly Fishing, and many more. Coquitlam also offer specialty programs for example, an Outdoor Education Experience and a Culinary Arts Program.

FACILITIES
Schools in the district have the latest equipment in their state-of-the-art labs including their Robotics Labs and Science Labs. Other facilities in the Coquitlam School District are large outdoor athletic fields, modern weight rooms, outdoor swimming pools, tennis courts, outdoor track facilities, new libraries, music rooms, theaters, and large common areas for students to hang out.

SPORTS AND ARTS
Some of the popular sports in the Coquitlam School District are Curling, Rugby, and Lacrosse. Every sports team in the Coquitlam School District has also been a Provincial Champion. There are also athletic opportunities in the Coquitlam community like Gymnastics, Horseback Riding, and Ice Hockey.
Students in the Coquitlam School District have the opportunity to take arts classes such as Photography, Graphic Design, and Performing Arts. There are also a number of extracurricular programs for students to explore their artistic interests.
