Based in Kent, St Lawrence College is an academically strong, co-educational private boarding school for students aged 11 – 18. It’s town location means students are able to balance life within the school with the independence of shopping and visiting cafes. St Lawrence College boasts a wide range of sporting teams and activities to ensure an active lifestyle for all students. Outside of sports, there are a range of extra-curricular activities, including horse riding, yoga, science clubs and creative endeavours. St Lawrence College was one of the founding colleges to be awarded the coveted accolade of World Class High Performance Learning School.
Boarding Houses at St Lawrence College are based around a common room, creating a social atmosphere for students to meet with friends and a "home away from home" feel. Each house is ran by House Parents who ensure students thrive academically and socially, whilst offering pastoral support whenever needed. After school and at the weekends, a full timetable of activities are on offer for students to choose from to ensure they are never bored, including trips to London. Most rooms at St Lawrence are shared, meaning students are able to mix with other nationalities which encourages rapid language acquisition and all rooms are en-suite.
St Lawrence College is known for its Sports Excellence Programme and offers a wide range of opportunities for all. They have academies for a range of sports, including Cricket, Hockey, Netball and Rugby and other sports are available throughout the year.
