FSAPS is a National Blue Ribbon School and a National School of Character. The National Blue Ribbon Schools program has been recognizing American schools since 1982 based on their overall academic excellence or their progress in closing achievement gaps among student subgroups. To be a National School of Character, learning institutions have demonstrated through a rigorous evaluation process that character development has had a positive impact on academics, student behavior, and school climate.
