St. Mary's School in Oregon boasts impressive rankings of #1 Best Catholic High School in Oregon, #2 Best Boarding High School in Oregon, and #3 Best High School for STEM in Oregon on Niche.com in addition to their A+ rating. It is well earned based on their 150 years of academic excellence. They offer incredibly rare subjects to take in conjunction with the choice of some of their 24 AP courses. Although St. Mary's is the third oldest school in Oregon, they stay modern in their facilities, their teaching approach and most importantly, how they connect with the students.

FACILITIES
St. Mary's sits on 24 acres with an 8-lane all-weather track, five acres of athletics fields, gymnasiums and multiple buildings. In addition, their Fine Arts and Athletic Center features a full gymnasium, fitness center, two art classrooms and two music classrooms. They continue to grow and build more of these state-of-the-art facilities, recently adding a Student Commons Area and STEM Center which is complete with nine science classrooms (including two robotic labs).

SPORTS AND ARTS
With multiple state championships in a number of sports and 65% of the student body playing at least one sport, you won't want to miss the experience to play on one of these teams. Whether it's Archery in the Fall, Skiing in the winter, or Track in the Spring, we're sure you'll reap the benefits.
In the Fine Arts department, you will continue to see rare opportunities to take part in. Subjects such as "STEAM Powered Instruments" and "How to Ruin a Movie (Advanced Film Analysis)" are just a couple examples that are sure to open your mind.

AWARDS AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS
On Niche.com St. Mary's has an overall rank of A+, is ranked #1 Best Catholic High School in Oregon, #2 Best Boarding School in Oregon, and #3 Best High School for STEM in Oregon. They are also picked as a Niche.com Best School for this year. There are currently 8 teachers on staff with PhD's as of 2023. They are also one of very few schools to implement the Module System which allows students to choose from an array of intriguing courses, taking just 3.5 courses per day for extended class periods, and have personal, adult-like choice in designing their own education while guided by experienced counselors and teachers.

DORMITORIES AND STUDENT LIFE
The dormitory building was opened in 2018 and include a community kitchen, student lounge, and in-room broadband Internet access, ping-pong, video game competitions, and more! There is a girls' and boys' floor in addition to 2 live in residential advisors. There is set Study Hall Monday-Thursday evenings and individualized academic advising for each student in addition to their college advising. Weekend activities can include midnight dodge ball, trips to Portland for NBA games or MLS Soccer games, local hikes, and so much more!
