SCHOOLS AND ACADEMIES Livingstone Range School Division encompasses a vast geographical area across southwestern Alberta, an area embraced by brilliant blue skies, fresh air, wide open spaces, and the western spirit. SCHOOLS AND ACADEMIES Golden Hills is home to more than 40 schools offering a wide range of academic courses including AP courses in Biology, Calculus, and Chemistry. Students have access to ESL learning resources and can also take part in the available athletic and fine arts programs offered at many schools. FACILITIES Golden Hills is the only public school division in Alberta with dormitory facilities. Students have access to an indoor swimming pool, as well as other sports facilities such as football fields, and fine art facilities including theatres. SPORTS AND ARTS Students can participate at the junior varsity or varsity level in sports such as volleyball, soccer, and football. During their time at Golden Hills, students have the opportunity to take part in choir, band, fine arts, and more. In addition to three foreign language options and ESL support, students can also choose a wide variety of courses including AP Classes in Math, English, and Social Studies, and students can also get involved in a variety of extracurriculars ranging from Art Club and Drama Club to International Club, Comic Book Club, and Rotary Club. Students also have the opportunity to take joint classes with Medicine Hat College. FACILITIES Students in Medicine Hat School District can make use of the newly built Indoor Running Track. Facilities also include gymnasiums, theatres, and a learning commons.
