To be honest, I prefer the Canadian way of educating high schoolers better, but I also believe both education systems are some of the best in the world.

Coquitlam, in Metro Vancouver, is a public-school district in British Columbia, Canada. Nestled in the mountains and edged by the Pacific Ocean and the Fraser River, Coquitlam has a mild climate with a safe environment and an affluent lifestyle. In addition to seven foreign language options and ESL, Coquitlam’s many and varied programs include Advanced Placement, the prestigious International Baccalaureate Diploma, French Immersion, Sports Academies, and a Confucius Institute. Students in the Coquitlam School District also take part in a large number of extracurricular programs including eSports, Model United Nations, Fly Fishing, and many more. Coquitlam also offer specialty programs for example, an Outdoor Education Experience and a Culinary Arts Program.
The Coquitlam School District is home to an impressive display of facilities. Schools in the district have the latest equipment in their state-of-the-art labs including their Robotics Labs and Science Labs. Some of the popular sports in the Coquitlam School District are Curling, Rugby, and Lacrosse. Every sports team in the Coquitlam School District has also been a Provincial Championship, beating out teams from all over British Columbia. There are also athletic opportunities in the Coquitlam community like Gymnastics, Horseback Riding, and Hockey.
Coquitlam is a growing and vibrant community that offers residents and visitors a wide range of attractions and activities. In one day, you can enjoy the outdoors, attend a sporting event, take in a theater production or art exhibition, attend a festival, learn about different cultures, or enjoy one of many heritage attractions. Coquitlam is also only a 30-minute drive or ride on the SkyTrain away from downtown Vancouver. The world class Whistler Mountain Ski Resort, home of the 2010 winter Olympic Games, is only a 2 hour drive way from Coquitlam.
