The Mesa district high schools offer a diverse curriculum that includes biotechnology classes, STEM diplomas, an innovative computer-based distance learning course, and the prestigious International Baccalaureate Diploma.
The District’s many beautiful campuses have newly renovated weight rooms, sports stadiums, all-weather tracks, sports fields, updated classrooms, and labs.
SPORTS AND ARTS
High schools in the district have won many championships in girls cross country, track, tennis, softball, and basketball as well as boys wrestling, golf and football. One high school made Sports Illustrated’s list of Top 25 High School Athletic Programs in the US.
Students in grades 9-11 can participate in sports. The district has many stellar visual and performing arts programs for those students interested in expressing themselves creatively.

Mesa Public School District schools have received the Siemen’s Foundation Top Advanced Placement Programs and the Silver Medal School awarded by U.S. News and World Report.
Mesa is located 20 miles from Arizona’s capital city, Phoenix. DISTRICT PROFILE Scottsdale Unified School District is one of the best in the state; five of its high schools accept international high school students. The district offers the prestigious International Baccalaureate Diploma, award-winning arts programs, career and technical education, and STEM programs. Scottsdale high schools provide a comprehensive American experience. FACILITIES Many of the district’s impressive campus facilities have been recently updated and feature modern computer labs, theaters, career centers, athletic facilities, and production labs. SPORTS AND ARTS Competitive sports teams in the district including soccer and baseball have won a total of five state championships in the last two years. Students in grades 9-11 can participate in sports. Students have ample opportunities for creative growth including an award-winning advertising and media arts programs, an award-winning theater program, and a culinary arts career education program. DISTRICT PROFILE Four high schools in Paradise Valley Unified School District are currently welcoming international students. All of the district’s high schools offer AP and honors courses. Many of the Paradise Valley high schools have exceptional academic programs, like the prestigious International Baccalaureate Diploma. FACILITIES Some of the district’s facilities include recently remodeled 1,000-seat auditorium and large capacity artificial turf football stadium. Because Phoenix has great weather year round, all campuses feature outdoor terraces with lunch tables and benches for students to enjoy the sunshine between classes.
