Founded in 1876, Vermont Academy is a college preparatory school. The private boarding school offers a variety of AP and dual credit courses as well as extensive STEM courses; including physics, biochemistry, environmental science, and more. FACILITIES Located on a 515 acre campus, students learn in modern classrooms and facilities. There are also miles of hiking and skiing trails surrounding the campus. Four high schools in Paradise Valley Unified School District are currently welcoming international students. All of the district’s high schools offer AP and honors courses. Many of the Paradise Valley high schools have exceptional academic programs, like the prestigious International Baccalaureate Diploma. FACILITIES Some of the district’s facilities include recently remodeled 1,000-seat auditorium and large capacity artificial turf football stadium. Phoenix has great weather year round and campuses feature outdoor terraces with lunch tables and benches for students to enjoy the sunshine between classes. SPORTS AND ARTS The district offers competitive athletics including traditional US sports such as American football and baseball as well as less traditional sports such as badminton.
