It's a great challenge for international students to leave their home and comfort zone. But living with an American host family will leave you with a lot of good memories. Today let me share with you my tips from living with host families for three years in American high schools!

Located in the northern Colorado city of Fort Collins, Poudre School District is the 9th largest school district in the state. As the 9th largest Public School District in the United States, Orange County Public Schools (OCPS) serves 28 high schools with over 59,000 high school students. In addition to nine foreign languages and ESL, OCPS has more than 30 AP courses, the prestigious International Baccalaureate Diploma Program, and many specialty programs such as Aviation and Aerospace Engineering, Entrepreneurship, and the Center for Future Educators just to name a few. Steamboat Mountain School is partnered with the third-largest ski mountain in Colorado, Steamboat Mountain. Its competitive ski and snowboard programs have produced dozens of Olympians, and its outdoor experiential learning program combined with challenging college-preparatory coursework gets students out of the classroom. FACILITIES The 140-acre campus is surrounded by two million mountainous acres. Steamboat’s campus features science and computer labs, a library, an art studio, a theater, and a greenhouse.
