Maine Central Institute offers American and international students a rigorous academic environment surrounded by the best of New England town life. Maine Central Institute provides a comprehensive educational program and a newly founded aviation program.
Maine Central Institute's campus includes a state-of-the-art Math and Science Center, two computer classrooms, a chemistry lab, a botany area, and recently renovated art facilities. Maine Central Institute's sports facilities include gymnasiums, weightlifting equipment, sports fields, a golf course, a track, and tennis court.
SPORTS AND ARTS
MCI's impressive athletic record includes three football state championships and two field hockey state championships. Three NBA All-Stars have graduated from MCI.
Over 25% of students participate in drama or art competitions each year. The Bossov Ballet Theater at MCI is both a performing company and an internationally renowned pre-professional ballet school.
DORMITORIES AND STUDENT LIFE
Maine Central Institute's four dormitories include two boys dorms, a girls dorm, and an honors dorm. Each building has laundry and student lounges. In addition to the 17 competitive sports teams, students have 40 clubs and activities to choose from throughout the school year.

SCHOOL PROFILE Founded in 1845, Lee Academy utilizes AP courses and an Academic Learning Lab to prepare students to succeed beyond high school. The school is located in the far northeastern corner of New England within driving distance to the expansive Acadia National Park and surrounded by Canada to the East, North, and West. FACILITIES The campus' 12 buildings include athletic fields, a plant conservatory, a planetarium, an auditorium, two gymnasiums, and a music center. SPORTS AND ARTS Lee Academy has recently added golf, tennis, indoor track, wrestling, and bowling to its athletics program. Lee Academy has won state championships in basketball, baseball, softball, and cross country. SCHOOL PROFILE Founded in 1792, Fryeburg Academy is a historic, academically rigorous school located in a classic New England village. The school offers specialized programs such as the film making program taught by a director who formerly worked at Hollywood's MGM Studios. Additionally, the math program has won many state and regional championships. FACILITIES The rural 105-acre campus features an art gallery and a state-of-the-art Performing Arts Center where 80 school and local performances are held each year. The school is currently building a new dining hall and student center. SPORTS AND ARTS Fryeburg offers over 20 varsity sports teams. The Nordic ski program is exceptional, having recently won the state championship and graduates have gone on to compete in the Olympics. Fryeburg Academy's performing arts and music programs are outstanding. The school has won multiple first place championships in vocal jazz, big band, and new standard jazz combo in both the state and the national Berklee High School Jazz Festival.
