St. Mary’s Ryken High School grants every student the opportunity to participate in their Scholars Program. This program features curriculum from the nationally recognized Project Lead the Way. In addition to offering STEM tracks in engineering, computer science, and biomedical, the Scholar Program also offers specialty tracks in global and international studies, humanities, performing and visual arts. The Scholars Program offers accelerated curriculum concentrations to students who seek a more advanced course of study.
The 87-acre campus includes an athletic stadium with professional grade turf and track, as well as a brand new athletic building. St. Mary’s also has a 1:1 iPad Program where students and teachers do work through iPads daily. They are currently remodeling their science building which will include the opening of a STEM lab in 2018. They are I 100% wi-fi campus, with 3 computer labs. They are remodeling the science building which includes the opening a STEM innovation lab in 2018.
SPORTS AND ARTS
St. Mary’s offers a total of 43 teams including 26 varsity programs and 17 different sports. Over 70% of students participate in at least one of the school’s athletic programs. SMR is a member of the Washington Catholic Athletic Conference, considered one of the most competitive conferences in the country. The arts program at St. Mary’s offers 25 courses ranging from ceramics and painting, to jazz band and technical theater. Each year, the school puts on two showcases. They also offer multiple levels of Dance.
Leonardtown is a historic town in southeast Maryland, founded in 1660. A coastal town, it is located immediately adjacent to the Patuxent River Naval Air Station, the home to the U.S. Naval Test Pilot School, and Naval Air Systems Command. International students can enjoy nautical scenery and activities in a quaint, colonial town.

West Nottingham Academy
SCHOOL PROFILE Founded in 1744, West Nottingham Academy is the oldest boarding school in the United States. The school's ideal location places students within driving distance to the Atlantic coast, New York City, and Washington, D.C. Students participate in experiential, project-based learning. FACILITIES West Nottingham's facilities, located on 100 acres near the Atlantic Ocean, include a student center, a science center, sports fields, and an amphitheater. The school's brand new Innovation Center features 3D printers, HP computers, podcasting equipment, virtual reality technology, and green screen technology. SPORTS AND ARTS All students participate in three seasons each year of competitive or recreational athletics. Options include badminton, soccer, cheerleading, and more. West Nottingham's artist-in-residence collaboration with the New York Academy of Art allows students to be taught by professional graduated artists who reside and teach on campus. The Calverton School
SCHOOL PROFILE Located near the coast of Maryland one hour southeast of the nation's capital, The Calverton School offers the prestigious International Baccalaureate Diploma and a new neighborhood-style Global Residential Village. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/-PMDndxCjeI" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe> FACILITIES The addition of the new Global Residential Village brought Calverton's campus to a spacious 153 acres. Its modern facilities include Smart Touch technology in every classroom, a large sports complex with numerous fields and courts, a new turf stadium, a contemporary arts and science center, a student art gallery, science labs, and a theater/auditorium. Students have access to campus-wide wireless internet access and iPads or laptops in every classroom. SPORTS AND ARTS In addition to 10 competitive sports, The Calverton School offers the D.C. United Academy Program: a partnership with the D.C. United professional soccer team that offers residency training for aspiring professional soccer players.
