Founded in 1869, Stoneleigh-Burnham School is situated on 100 acres in the heart of the New England countryside. The nationally recognized school is New England's only girls' school to offer the prestigious International Baccalaureate Diploma.
Stoneleigh-Burnham School's internet-accessible facilities include a new science center, dance studios, athletic facilities, and an art gallery. The school's recently renovated and expanded equestrian center features indoor and outdoor riding rings for year round riding, heated barns, an indoor heated viewing room, an extensive trail network around the 100-acre campus, and a Derby field.
SPORTS AND ARTS
Students can take advantage of the school's New England location by participating in its competitive alpine skiing or figure skating winter teams. The school's equestrian program is partnered with Smith College, giving students access to instruction and facilities of collegiate quality.
AWARDS AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Stoneleigh-Burnham is the only secondary school in the US to offer the British Horse Society Certification and is a four-time national equestrian champion. Thirteen students have ranked as World Competitors in Debate and Public Speaking.

SCHOOL PROFILE The MacDuffie School offers students unique academic programs such as their Leadership Program, developed by a professor from the Cornell University Graduate School of Management. MacDuffie's science department has partnerships with UMass Amherst's Polymer Science Lab and the Harvard University Science Department. Northfield Mount Hermon
SCHOOL PROFILE Northfield Mount Hermon believes good lives grow from strong roots. So NMH created an environment where creativity, character, and natural curiosity can flourish. As NMH graduates enter college and adulthood, they are well-educated, well-adjusted, well-liked, and very well-prepared to thrive. Northfield Mount Hermon is a coed, independent boarding school of 655 students in grades 9–12 plus a postgraduate year. NMH is known for its College-Model Academic Program, which balances academic, extracurricular, and residential experiences. You’ll find NMH in the heart of New England, on the banks of the Connecticut River in western Massachusetts. FACILITIES Students at Northfield Mount Hermon have access to a number of fantastic facilities, including a 34-acre farm, an observatory, and a high-level athletic complex which includes three turf fields and an all-weather outdoor track. SPORTS AND ARTS The school has a long history of athletic success, including a powerhouse cross country program, and has produced a number of Olympians, including Tessa Gobbo, who won an Olympic Gold Medal in Rowing at the 2016 Olympics. In terms of arts, Northfield Mount Hermon's 65,000 square-foot Rhodes Art Center is home to all of the school's performing arts. Students also have the option to enroll in a number of fine arts classes, including three AP studio art classes. AWARDS AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS Many Northfield Mount Hermon students win academic, athletic, and artistic awards. In 1968, the sport of Ultimate Frisbee was invented at the school. DORMITORIES AND STUDENT LIFE With dormitories that range from 14 to 150 students, Northfield Mount Hermon has something for every student. Each dormitory has a faculty "dorm parent" around to support students outside of class. On the weekends, there is plenty to do. Chapel Hill-Chauncy Hall School
SCHOOL PROFILE Founded in 1860, Chapel Hill-Chauncy Hall School is located just minutes west of Boston, Massachusetts and its world-renowned colleges and universities. The academically rigorous school offers the International Baccalaureate Diploma along with various AP courses and a senior capstone project that promotes independence and responsibility. FACILITIES The school’s historical buildings are located on a forested 40-acre campus with a classic New England feel. Students have access to a media arts center, barn houses with a theater, a digital arts lab, a photography dark room, a pottery studio, and a dance/yoga studio. Additionally, the campus features a pond with a zip-line, a greenhouse, multiple athletic fields, swimming pools, a gymnasium, a fitness center, and a student commons. SPORTS AND ARTS Chapel Hill-Chauncy Hall School is home to 12 intercollegiate sports teams, six of which won the state championships during the 2017-18 season. In addition to competitive athletics, students can participate in recreational activities such as fitness. The school offers a wide and unique range of arts options such as sculpting and wheel throwing as well as extracurricular clubs such as drama tech and media internship. AWARDS AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS CH-CH is listed among the top 10 schools in the state for their range of Advanced Placement courses. The 2017-18 school year brought six state championships in volleyball, cross country, boy’s basketball, boy’s lacrosse, wrestling, and softball. DORMITORIES AND STUDENT LIFE Students live in one of four dorms with laundry, common rooms, and dorm parents. The school organizes various activities such as college sports games, kayaking, and skiing. Since the school is located so close to Boston, students have the opportunity to take public transportation into the city and explore on their own.
