School Description

Allendale Columbia School is an independent college preparatory day school accepting international students from 9-12th grade. Allendale Columbia combines a rigorous liberal arts and sciences education with college advising and a wide selection of extracurricular activities. Individualized course scheduling, top quality arts programming and a full selection of sports and activities give students countless opportunities to develop goals and deepen their passions. The in-depth College Advising program helps make the ultimate transition to the next phase of students’ education smooth and successful.

The Allendale Columbia campus has 41 classrooms, a library, performance art center, three music classrooms, three art studios, six science labs, four computer labs, and a digital art lab.

Allendale Columbia and The Harley School maintain a joint athletic program to offer the best possible options for athletes. With four school drama productions and five to six concerts each year the state-of-the-art Curtis Performance Center (a 333-seat theater and well-equipped stage) is well utilized. Productions include both Broadway classics and contemporary theater literature not often produced by high schools.

Allendale Columbia School has two homes adjacent to the campus. Their international house for boys can hold ten students, while their girls’ house can hold eight. A private chef provides dinner nightly. Weekend activities and transportation are all inclusive.
