Mt. Lebanon High School
School DescriptionMt. Lebanon High School is a US secondary school with about 1,760 students. Recognized as a National Blue Ribbon School, it was rated one of the Top 500 high schools in the US by Newsweek and rated first in Western Pennsylvania by the Pittsburgh Business Times.
The 26-acre campus has a 100,000 volume library, a fine arts complex with two theaters, visual arts studios, a professional dance studio, music studios, a full production TV studio, science/computer/writing labs, three full-size gyms, an indoor swimming pool, and a 7,200-seat stadium with a football field and track.

International students have the opportunity to join more than 26 interscholastic championship sports teams.
Mt. Lebanon also has an extensive arts program with classes like music technology and technical theater.

Mt. Lebanon has received an award for #1 Traditional (non-magnet/non-charter) Public High School by Pennsylvania School Performance Profile and #5 Digital School Districts Nationwide from the Center for Digital Education & National School Boards Association.
Pittsburgh was recently named one of the “Best Places to Travel in 2016” by Travel Leisure and rated the nation’s “No. 1 Food City” by Zagat. The city offers a mix of indoor and outdoor activities along with famous places like Carnegie Mellon University.

Established in 1926, Mercyhurst Preparatory School currently offers 30 IB and 23 honors courses along with dual enrollment courses at three different local colleges and universities. The international population is only about 15%, so students get a real American immersion experience. FACILITIES Mercyhurst’s DREAM (design, research, arts, engineering, and math) technology lab features Z-space virtual reality, a 3D printer, and drones.
