"International students who study at a US high school have an inside-track to attend a US University," according to Educatius Group's Academic Director Dr. Sharon Tan.
"Enjoy every moment like it is your last.” That phrase was my motto I lived by this past year.
It is impossible to believe March is coming to an end. With that being said, just a small reminder that Graduation is less than two months away and not to mention Prom is next month!!! Time truly flies when you are having a good time and when you are far away from home.
It's a great challenge for international students to leave their home and comfort zone. But living with an American host family will leave you with a lot of good memories. Today let me share with you my tips from living with host families for three years in American high schools!

What is the most important factor for international students when selecting a US high school to apply to?
Food is important when studying abroad. Today, I will give you an introduction to American foods you need to try while abroad.
Located less than an hour from historic Philadelphia, The Phelps School’s small student body ensures intimate class sizes and a low teacher to student ratio of only 1:4. Phelps offers a variety of academic opportunities including classes in health/fitness, environmental science, forensics, Python programming, and even a dual-enrollment courses with Immaculata University and the University of Pittsburgh. Dual-enrollment is open to junior, senior and PG students. FACILITIES The campus’ academic and administrative buildings are located a short walk from the dormitories, while athletes have access to facilities such as a new athletic center, soccer and lacrosse fields, all-weather tennis courts, a running track, a basketball court, a fitness and weight room and a wrestling room. Established in 1926, Mercyhurst Preparatory School currently offers 30 IB and 23 honors courses along with dual enrollment courses at three different local colleges and universities. The international population is only about 15%, so students get a real American immersion experience. FACILITIES Mercyhurst’s DREAM (design, research, arts, engineering, and math) technology lab features Z-space virtual reality, a 3D printer, and drones. Other facilities include a new library, a new theater, a dance studio, a dark room, science labs, and athletic facilities. Erie First Christian Academy is located on the southeastern shores of Lake Erie, one of North America’s five Great Lakes. Students can choose from 15 dual enrollment courses, taken at Gannon University and Pennsylvania State University. FACILITIES The campus provides modern classrooms and buildings including a newly constructed housing facility, a science lab, a technology/computer lab, drama and music facilities, sports fields, a large indoor gymnasium, workout areas, and a youth/activities center. SPORTS AND ARTS Students can choose to participate in interscholastic sports such as football and basketball as well as intramural athletic programs and leagues such as kayaking, horseback riding and cycling.
