Davis School District
School DescriptionThere are a total of eight co-educational high schools in the Davis School District. Altogether, they offer a number of programs that include the prestigious International Baccalaureate Diploma, an impressive math and science program, and a Career Academies. The district also offers dual enrollment courses for college credit, digital media programs, and an extensive selection of clubs and athletics.
The facilities in the Davis School District vary from school to school, but at every school students will be able to utilize an auditorium, gymnasium, libraries with large collections of digital books, Wi-Fi connection, and sports facilities.
SPORTS AND ARTS
Each high school offers competitive sports programs. One of the district high schools has a fantastic girls basketball program that has won the state championship in previous years.
The district is known for its great marching bands, music programs, and theater programs at each of their high schools.
Farmington, Utah is located between the Wasatch Mountains and the Great Salt Lake. Frequent snowfall makes the area ideal for skiing and other winter sports. The town was recently ranked #12 on the “Best Places to Live” index in Money Magazine’s Small Town category.

"Enjoy every moment like it is your last.” That phrase was my motto I lived by this past year.
It is impossible to believe March is coming to an end. With that being said, just a small reminder that Graduation is less than two months away and not to mention Prom is next month!!! Time truly flies when you are having a good time and when you are far away from home.
It's a great challenge for international students to leave their home and comfort zone. But living with an American host family will leave you with a lot of good memories. Today let me share with you my tips from living with host families for three years in American high schools!

Technology has recently been a focus at Gunnison Valley High and every high schooler receives an iPad to use throughout the term. FACILITIES The facilities at Gunnison Valley High School include state-of-the-art classrooms, athletic amenities (a football field, soccer fields, a track, and a gymnasium), and a working bell tower. The Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District (PYLUSD) is located southeast of Los Angeles. The district maintains its reputation for academic excellence by offer challenging academic programs that focus on college preparation. FACILITIES Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified has modernized over 20 of the schools in their district including 3 of the high schools. To help better serve students, they built a 4th high school which was completed in 2009.
