Founded in 1876, Vermont Academy is a college preparatory school. The private boarding school offers a variety of AP and dual credit courses as well as extensive STEM courses; including physics, biochemistry, environmental science, and more.
Located on a 515 acre campus, students learn in modern classrooms and facilities. There are also miles of hiking and skiing trails surrounding the campus. During the winter there is a snow park for skiing and snowboarding too.
SPORTS AND ARTS
International students can participate in a variety of traditional and unique sports. The school offers an equestrian program, located off campus. Outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy miles of ski, bike, and hiking trails too.
Vermont Academy offers many extracurricular and academic courses in the fine arts; including ballet, theater, electronic music, jazz music, film-making, and more.
DORMITORIES AND STUDENT LIFE
International students can enjoy modern dorm rooms and facilities, where they are supervised by dorm parents. On campus, there is never a shortage of activities. Students can enjoy skiing and snowboarding at Okemo Mountain, outdoor fires, Zumba classes, along with movie and shopping trips.

SCHOOL PROFILE Founded in 1867, Lyndon Institute is a historic school in New England that offers a STEM program, dual enrollment courses at nearby Northern Vermont University, 14 AP course options, and more than 20 visual, performing, and media arts courses. Lyndon Institute is located 10 minutes from Burke Mountain ski and mountain bike resort. FACILITIES Lyndon Institute’s 150-acre campus includes nature trails, science labs, computer labs, a multimedia center/library, sports fields, an ice hockey arena, a greenhouse, and a track and field facility.
