School Description

The Tacoma Public School District is the third largest district in the state of Washington. Tacoma’s high schools’ strong academic curricula include the prestigious International Baccalaureate Diploma and 6 foreign language options and are supplemented by interesting extracurricular and sports programs.

FACILITIES
All of Tacoma’s frequently upgraded high schools have their own athletic facilities and various academic buildings.

SPORTS AND ARTS
All schools offer a wide variety of sports, clubs, and arts courses. Tacoma District’s Wilson High School has a particularly successful and comprehensive athletic program.
Stadium High School has the most comprehensive art department in the district. Unique opportunities include the nationally recognized glassblowing program.
