School and Academic:
Cologne International School, driven by a vision to inspire a passion for learning and global citizenship, stands out with its educational concept. With a multinational teaching staff dedicated to the individual child's academic success, the school accommodates around 470 students from 52 nationalities. The International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) in English and German, offered since 2016, has consistently yielded exceptional results, with graduates achieving above-average scores and pursuing further studies worldwide.
Students in Grades 9 and 10 will be preparing for the iGCSE syllabus which is offered by Cambridge English.

Academic Pathways:
Cologne International School is an IB World School. Emphasizing flexibility and individualized learning, the school offers a comprehensive academic pathway. From the Middle Years Programme (MYP) for grades 6-10 to the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (DP) for grades 11-12, students experience a bilingual education that prepares them for higher education globally. Recognized by the KMK (German Conference of Ministers of Education), the MYP and IB DP provide a solid foundation for personal and academic development.

Cologne International School's campus is thoughtfully designed to complement its pedagogical framework. Modern facilities include a boarding house offering various accommodation options. The campus features amenities such as a rooftop terrace with panoramic views, common areas, and a cafeteria, fostering a supportive and inclusive environment for holistic student development.

Sports and Arts:
The school actively promotes a holistic approach to education by supporting sports, arts, and cultural activities. Boarding Accommodation:
The Boarding House at Cologne International School serves as a home away from home, emphasizing independence, individual support, and social development. Modern accommodations, including single and double rooms, feature essential amenities. The 24/7 care provided by qualified staff ensures a supportive and inclusive environment, fostering a sense of community and cultural appreciation. Please note that the Boarding Accommodation is available only for students applying for a 1 year or 2 year program.
Alongside Boarding options a Day School program is offered, placing students with local Host Families. This is available for Semester and 1 Year students.
