Located in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, Boulder Valley School District in Boulder, Colorado is about 40 minutes north of Denver. There are countless academic, athletic, and arts opportunities including over 30 AP courses and more than 60 extracurriculars. International students can co-enroll in Front Range Community College or Colorado State University to earn college credits, including outstanding courses in STEM.

FACILITIES
The facilities in the district include science labs, music rooms, football stadiums, sports fields, tennis courts, pools, and auditoriums. All schools in the district also use technology as a teaching tool.

SPORTS AND ARTS
There are excellent competitive athletic programs in the district, which take advantage of Colorado’s location with many winter sports available. One of the high schools in the district won the Boys Soccer Colorado State Championships in 2020. The district offers some intramural sports as well such as Badminton, Basketball, Cheer, Cross Country Skiing, Dodgeball, Kickball, Mountain Biking, and Ultimate Frisbee.
Students can explore many different areas of the fine arts, including 4 AP classes, Digital Art and Design, Orchestra, and Jazz Band. Unique courses include Culinary Arts, Pottery and Sculpture, and Wood Working, supplemented by numerous extracurriculars.
